1. Overview
At CoreWave Electronics, we stand behind the quality of our products and are committed to a transparent, fair experience for every customer. This policy applies to all retail purchases made through our website. B2B and wholesale customers are subject to separate terms agreed upon at the time of purchase.
2. Return Window
Customers may request a return within 30 days of the delivery date. After 30 days, all sales are considered final.
European Union customers: In accordance with EU consumer protection law, EU-based retail customers have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of delivery, without providing a reason. This right applies to B2C transactions only and does not apply to B2B purchases.
3. Eligibility for a Return
To qualify for a return, the item must:
- Be in the same condition as received
- Include all original packaging, accessories, manuals, and serial numbers
- Not show signs of misuse, damage, or unauthorized repair
- Be accompanied by a valid Return Merchandise Authorization (RMA) number
Items returned without an RMA may be refused or subject to processing delays. To request an RMA, contact us at info@corewaveint.com.
4. Non-Returnable Items
The following items cannot be returned under any circumstances:
- Marine electronics that have been installed or used
- Software, firmware, activation keys, or digital licenses
- Items damaged by improper installation, water intrusion, or user error
- Products with missing, altered, or tampered serial numbers or labels
- Clearance or final-sale items (clearly marked at time of purchase)
5. Wrong Item Received
If you receive an incorrect product, CoreWave Electronics will:
- Provide a prepaid return shipping label
- Ship the correct item at no additional cost
Photo evidence of the item received may be required to process the replacement.
6. Defective or Dead-on-Arrival (DOA) Items
If your item arrives defective or non-functional:
- You must notify us within 30 days of delivery
- We will offer a replacement, exchange, or full refund after inspection
- Basic troubleshooting may be required to confirm the issue before a resolution is issued
7. Refunds
Once the returned item is received and inspected:
- Approved refunds are issued to the original payment method
- Refunds are processed within 5 business days of receiving the return
- You will receive an email confirmation once the refund has been issued
- Deductions may apply if the item is returned incomplete, used, or damaged beyond what was disclosed
Note for EU customers: Refunds for valid withdrawal requests will be issued within 14 days of us receiving the returned item, in accordance with EU Directive 2011/83/EU.
8. Restocking Fees
A restocking fee of up to 20% of the item price may apply if:
- The item is returned without original packaging
- The product shows signs of use
- Accessories or components are missing
- The return reason is buyer's remorse
Exception: No restocking fee applies to EU-based retail customers exercising their 14-day right of withdrawal. However, if the returned item shows handling beyond what is necessary to assess its condition, CoreWave reserves the right to deduct the depreciation in value from the refund amount.
9. Return Shipping Costs
- CoreWave's error (wrong item shipped, DOA, defective item): CoreWave covers return shipping costs and provides a prepaid label.
- All other returns (domestic US): The customer is responsible for return shipping costs.
- International returns: Return shipping costs are the sole responsibility of the customer, regardless of the reason, except in cases of CoreWave error. We strongly recommend using a tracked shipping service, as CoreWave is not responsible for returns lost in transit.
10. Exchanges
Exchanges are available within the 30-day return window, subject to product availability. Contact us at info@corewaveint.com to initiate an exchange.
11. Order Processing & Delivery Times
Orders are typically processed within 1–3 business days of payment confirmation. Delivery times vary depending on destination and shipping method selected at checkout:
- United States: estimated 3–8 business days depending on service selected
- International: estimated 5–15 business days depending on destination country, customs clearance, and local postal services
These are estimates only. CoreWave Electronics is not responsible for delays caused by customs processing, local carriers, force majeure events, or circumstances beyond our control. International customers are responsible for any applicable import duties, taxes, and customs fees in their country.
